Paying Your Bill

Private & Commercial Clients

If you are not eligible for Public Funding we will provide you with an estimate of your anticipated costs at the initial interview and will be able to discuss the various options available to you.


There are several methods of payment for Private Paying Clients.

Cash in person up to a maximum of £250
Credit or Debit Card (a 1.5% surcharge is made on all credit card payment other than bill payments)
Cheque / Bank Draft – Payable to 'Wollen Michelmore LLP'
Telegraphic Transfer / CHAPS- Please quote our reference with all payments
Payment Plan - We may be able to spread your payments dependant on your circumstances.
All invoices are payable upon presentation and interest at 8% per annum may be charged if the bill is still outstanding after one month with no agreement made.

Public Funding (Legal Aid)

Public Funding (also know as Legal Aid) is available to anyone who meets a means test, based upon your financial circumstances.

Your Legal Advisor will be able to assess your eligibility for this scheme.

Conditional Fee Agreement

It may be that your case is suitable for a no-win, no fee arrangement. Your Legal Advisor will be able to assess your eligibility for this scheme.
