Community Involvement

As a business located in one of most beautiful areas of the country we are conscious of our responsibility to minimise our impact on the environment. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and so have joined the Legal Sector Alliance, a group of law firms who share ideas and research in achieving ways in which waste and usage of raw materials and utilities can be reduced and minimised. We are committed to recycle as much of our waste emissions as possible, achieve energy savings and avoid unnecessary travel. We regularly review our office procedures and our CSR policy to achieve these aims.

Our lawyers and staff undertake a wide range of "pro bono work" and give of their time to support numerous charity projects, often engaging in fund-raising efforts and sponsorship designed to help local charities and good causes. Examples of how we support communities through fund-raising and sponsorships include: South Devon Cricket Club main sponsor, The Devon Life Food and Drink Awards and Devon Safer Communities sponsorship.
